Photographing People: A Christmas Gift from AmateurNikon!

Portrait Photography is probably the most popular kind of photography, and for a good reason: We want to take photos of our families, our loved ones, and our friends. People are a fascinating subject for the photographic lens - and, in case you didn't know, this article proves the popularity of portrait photography; it is by far the most popular article on AmateurNikon.

Today, however, I have a very special treat for you. Some time ago, I decided to put together a small eBook, titled Photographing People: With Exposure Information and Commentary. The driving force behind the creation of this eBook was the same as the one behind this website: the desire to help fellow photographers, particularly beginner and intermediate (but also advanced as well).

The aim of this photographic album is not merely to offer a sample of my portfolio, but also to teach. Each photo in this volume attempts to inspire you, while the accompanying text (with exposure information and personal notes) helps you understand how you can transform this inspiration into an image output. This eBook is divided into three parts: The first part is about live music photography; the second about occasions (e.g. weddings); the third part is about general portrait photography.

Although its price is already very low (the minimum allowed, in fact), I wanted to offer you a special treat for Christmas: For a limited time only, you can get the eBook for free!

Click on the photo (or, alternatively, this link) to visit Amazon's Kindle bookstore and get your free copy. Remember, the offer is valid only for a couple of days - but there will be more promotions in the future.
